LANARKSHIRE'S L107 RADIO STATION ONE OF SCOTLAND'S FEW REMAINING TRULY LOCAL RADIO STATIONS HAS BEEN SAVED FROM CLOSURE AT THE FINAL HOUR BY A PROMINENT LOCAL BUSINESSMAN.
A WELL KNOWN LANARKSHIRE BUSINESSMAN HAS SAVED L107 A HIGHLY POPULAR LOCAL RADIO STATION FROM CLOSURE. ALAN SHIELDS A HIGHLY RESPECTED AND EXPERIENCED MEDIA MOGUL AND FORMER SCOTTISH MANAGING DIRECTOR OF THE WIRELESS GROUP HAS STEPPED IN JUST AT THE LAST MOMENT AND PREVENTED THE STATION FROM BEING CLOSED DOWN.

Following on The Scottie McClue Campaign Trail spanning almost SIXTEEN Years of Public Access Radio (PAR) broadcasting, often concerning the use of condoms in the third world, The Vatican appear's to be responding positively to the concept of condom use in order to to combat early death, disease and poverty and also to counter ceaseless and needless want and suffering across the globe.
Only last week, during his Easter Sunday late-night flagship mega-phone-in programme Scottie urged the public to back His Holiness The Pope in his clarion call Easter message which was angled towards countering the destruction of the family unit in modern life.

Listeners to Scottish TalkJock and leading UK broadcasting LEGEND Scottie McClue heard him call for the goverment to award a 'contract' to the Roman Catholic Church for the education of all schoolchildren in Britain.
During His much listened to phone-in show
Scottie said, that in his many years of experience as an educationist in over 900 schools both denominational and
non-denominational, he felt that the Catholic schools appeared to have got it exactly right in their teaching of devotion, morality, family values, good order also responsibility, reverence, and respect in an era where
"we have lost so many of these vital qualities and had in many cases fostered an age of the feral youngster".
This kind of leap of faith and advanced thinking would in turn would help to eradicate the myriad problems associated with erstwhile social decline and economic challenge such as a lack of community, one-parent families, sectarianism, abortion, teenage pregnancy, drunkennes and substance abuse and give our young people, regardless of the child's own denomination and with no pressure to alter their own religious beliefs, a real focus and point to their lives.
BROADCAST MAY HAVE SPARKED PAPAL VISIT
Following TalkJock Scottie McClue's recent controversial Debate on Ecumenicalism in which the firebrand broadcaster suggested 'A Possible Return to Rome by all Christians in order to ensure the survival of Christianity in an increasingly secular age'
The Vatican has announced that H.H. The Pope is to visit the UK.
An amazed Scottie said last night:
"While there is a possibility that the two events are purely coincidental it does seem incredible that The debate only took place recently and yet the news of The Pope's Visit was suddenly announced two days later.
The Vatican has not yet commented.
