PRACTICE NURSES
Catherine Taylor and Louise Duffin
Our Practice Nurses are available for routine health checks, vaccinations, cervical smears, routine blood tests, dressings, ear syringing, and can give advice on travel precautions etc.
They also assist with the Diabetic Clinic and have had special training in treating patients with asthma.
Details can be obtained from the receptionists.
We also have a Healthcare Assistant and a Phlebotomist who carry out routine procedures such as taking blood, blood pressure, height and weight measurement.
If the doctor asks you to come for a blood test, this can be Monday & Tuesday morning or up to 3.30pm Wednesday, Thursday & Friday to ensure the samples get to the lab for testing.
